It was created by two MFA students from the University of Southern California Interactive Media Division, for their fall 2007 Intermediate Game Design and Development course. In addition to creating a large-scale mural himself, he also showcased some of the best artists in street and urban art from around the world.Hush is a short sociopolitical game inspired by the Rwandan Genocide in 1994, the darkest period of the Rwandan Civil War. A UK native, his street art, murals, and paintings have been featured in numerous books and publications and was recognized by London’s The Independent as one of the "Top 20 Up and Coming Artists." HUSH recently curated New York hotspot VANDAL, situated in the Bowery. The exhibition will be on display on Saturdays from 11am-4pm and by appointment until February 6, 2018, and is free and open to the public.įrom his London studio, HUSH paints for exhibition and site work in Europe, Australia, and North America. HUSH will be in attendance during the opening reception at Heron Arts on Saturday, January 13, 2018. The exhibition will feature HUSH’s largest installation to date, an animation created by the artist, hand embellished limited edition prints and original paintings. HUSH is returning to San Francisco after many years and a whirlwind of successes around the world. The evening will also feature musical performance from legendary San Francisco turntablist DJ QBert, with supporting sets from Romanowski and Smokes.
